Hemme Powered: October 2007
I have been in wrestling for almost 4 years now. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun! Wrestling has given me the opportunity to travel the world, meet some wonderfully diverse people and be a part of some incredible events. But in the vast vision of where my career in wrestling has lead me, my time has never felt more special than it does at this moment.
TNA has grown faster than anyone could imagine and has proven itself to be the new face of professional wrestling. We are driven with action-packed wrestling but succeeding with the fresh vivacious energy that responds to it. That fresh energy continues to grow with everyone involved; superstars, crew, office, but most importantly you… the fans.
My time at TNA has become so precious and exciting with the arrival of the Women’s Division… something that has been anticipated for quite some time now. Even though every girl backstage has their eager eye on the prize, there is a very united excitement that our patience has paid off. I really wanted you guys to know just how much wrestling and the Women’s Division means to us, so I asked a couple of the TNA Knockouts that I am always proud to be in the same ring as, how they feel about the soon to be coveted belt on its way to Bound for Glory.
Ms. Brooks wrote…
“I am doing cardio and I begin to think of the upcoming women’s division and the upcoming match at BFG and tears fill my eyes. I wanted a TNA women’s championship title since I first started at TNA inAapril 2003, I brush away tears. Watching the TNA Knockout match Sept 27th on Spike TV, I can’t speak due to being choked up… these are tears are of joy, tears of wanting something so bad in my life, and finally after 5 years of TNA being around it is going to happen… I guess you could say I am the original TNA Knockout… I have been here since almost the beginning… I have been there when we did the weekly PPV’s in Nashville to our first three-hour PPV in Orlando to FSN to SpikeTV, primetime and now two hours. I have seen a lot of girls come and go but I cannot be happier with the TNA Knockout locker room and the strengths that each girl brings to this division We have put a lot of pressure on ourselves to make this the best women’s division ever and we promise not to disappointment our fans. As I continue to write this tears run down my face uncontrollably as I realize just how close my dreams are becoming a reality… I just want to thank TNA management for giving us this chance and to our fans, we promise this division is going to be like nothing you have ever seen before… KICK-ASS!”
Gail Kim happily replied…
“I’m so happy that I get the chance to express my thoughts and emotions at this time. All the waiting… the patience has finally paid off. From the time that I started with TNA, this is all I ever dreamed of. The chance to help establish a strong women’s division with this great group of talented girls. There was a point in my career where I can truly say my passion was dwindling and now I am happy to say that its stronger than its ever been before. This start to the womens division shows potential to be the strongest division I have ever been a part of. Thanks to TNA for giving us the opportunity to be the best, entertain the fans with some female wrestling, and I promise that we will not disappoint!”
Back to Christy…
I want to say a very special thank you to everyone who makes this possible and believes in us. Thank you girls!! Thank you TNA managment!! And thank you, everyone who is reading this!!
Bound for Glory will be the bench mark and beginning of the best Women’s Division developed. With a group of women that have been chosen by their skill, dedication and love for the business… we are all standing proud and ready to be a part of a dream that we all share… to wrestle with the best, to wrestle for TNA, and to wrestle for the TNA Women’s Championship. ITS ON BABY!!!
